70's
Butterscotch
The song writing/production team of Chris Arnold, David Martin and Geoff Morrow has written some classic tracks over the years including "Can't Smile Without You" for Barry Manilow as well as songs for artists such as Billy Fury, Cliff Richard, Cilla Black, Edison Lighthouse and Elvis Presley.
In 1970 they turned their hands to recording, formed the band Butterscotch and immediately had a UK Top 20 hit single with ""Don't You Know". The album "Don't You Know It's Butterscotch" includes 7 additional tracks that were originally only released as singles.
Bearded Lady
Much feted in their day, doyens of the mid-70's pub-rock scene, Bearded Lady never quite achieved the acclaim that they deserved. Their sole release at the time was the single "Rock Star", which despite excellent reviews, never quite gave them their breakthrough.
Mouse
Mouse released their one and only album "Lady Killer" in 1973, which is now considered something of a prog rock classic.
"Led by Ray Russell, Mouse presents an album of progressive rock that is sought-after for a good number of reasons. His soaring acid guitar reigns supreme... (and) given that all other tracks are ... at best marvellous, it's easy to see why progressive collectors consider this album a must." - Tapestry of Delights
